Get started

Fifteen minutes to a local companion. Production is a private network, not the public internet.

    Python and Redis

    Python 3.11–3.13 and Redis 7+ on loopback.

  2. 02

    One provider

    Copy the env template. Set Fireworks, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or Ollama.

  3. 03

    Identity files

    Write SOUL.md, PROFILE.md, and STATE.md. Headings ship blank on purpose.

  4. 04

    Loopback first

    Bind localhost until the service answers. Then decide Tailscale.

  5. 05

    Tailscale for anything else

    No port forwarding. No Funnel. No public reverse proxy.

The public repository is Bridge-core. Akane’s source is not in that repository. License: AGPL-3.0.
