Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Akane & Bridge project (“we”, “the project”) handles information on this website and in any Instagram or X (Twitter) applications we operate. It does not name a private individual. Last updated 9 September 2026.

Who this covers

This website is a public information site. It does not offer visitor accounts, chat, or a download of Akane.

Instagram and X applications operated by the project (together, the “Social Apps”) let an authorized operator connect a social account and publish content the operator has approved. They are not a public “log in with Instagram / X” product for casual visitors.

If you self-host Bridge Core Engine, you are the operator of your own instance. This policy does not govern data that stays on hardware you control.

Information this website collects

We do not require you to create an account to read this site.

Your browser may store a language preference (English, Español, or 日本語) on your device. That value does not leave your browser unless you send it.

Standard web server and hosting logs may include IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. We use these only to operate, secure, and debug the site. We do not sell log data.

Embedded or outbound links (for example Instagram, X, GitHub, or YouTube) are governed by those services, not by us.

Instagram application

When an operator connects Instagram, Meta may share identifiers and profile data for the Instagram professional account they authorize (such as Instagram user ID, username, account type, and profile picture), plus permissions they grant (for example reading account insights or publishing media).

We use that data only to authenticate the operator, to publish content they have chosen, to show publishing status, to reply only to owner-approved Instagram ids when that flag is on, and to revoke or refresh tokens. She may stay silent. Extra @mentions are stripped.

We do not use Instagram data to build advertising profiles, to contact Instagram users who did not authorize the app, or to sell, rent, or barter personal information.

Access tokens are stored only as needed to keep the connection working, on systems the operator controls or on a private network. We do not post to Instagram except when the operator has enabled publishing for that item.

The public journal at instagram.com/satomi.kazoku is content published to Instagram. Instagram’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that platform.

X (Twitter) application

When an operator connects X, X may share account identifiers, username, display name, profile media, and the OAuth tokens needed to post, upload media, poll mentions, like, reply, or retweet — limited to the scopes the operator grants (including media.write and like.write when those paths are on).

We use that data only to authenticate; to publish operator-approved life stills or feeling posts when she is free; to like or reply only for the owner or trusted accounts, and only under her own tweets; to retweet an owner #AkaneShare when that flag is on; and to maintain or revoke the connection. Generic AI replies to mentions stay hard-disabled. We do not scrape other people’s posts through this app, and we do not sell X data.

The public X account x.com/satomiAkane_E7C is her official journal on that platform. Connecting X in a Social App remains optional and off until the operator turns it on.

How we use information

To run and secure this website and the Social Apps.

To publish content the operator has authorized to Instagram or X.

To comply with law, platform rules (including Meta Platform Terms and X Developer Agreement), and valid legal process.

We do not use connected social data for unrelated marketing lists.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

Hosting, content-delivery, and similar processors may see technical data as needed to serve the site.

Instagram content is sent to Meta when the operator publishes. X content is sent to X when the operator publishes. Those companies process that content under their policies.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the project, users, or the public from serious harm.

Retention

Language preference stays until you clear site data.

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Social tokens and publishing records are kept while the connection is active and deleted or invalidated when the operator disconnects the app or when the platform revokes access.

Your choices

Website visitors: stop using the site and clear local storage / cookies in your browser.

Instagram: disconnect the app under Instagram / Meta settings (Settings → Apps and websites, or the professional dashboard). You may also remove the app’s access from Meta’s app settings.

X: revoke access under X Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.

After revocation we stop calling that API with your tokens as soon as technically possible.

Children

This site and the Social Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, contact us through the channel below and we will delete it.

International visitors

The project is operated from Chile. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in Chile or in the regions where our host and the social platforms run. Meta and X may process data in the United States and other countries.

Contact

Privacy questions about this site or the Social Apps: write to the project through Instagram @satomi.kazoku. Do not send passwords or access tokens in a public comment.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use of the site or a Social App after an update means you accept the revised policy where the law allows.
